I’m Justin Mammoliti, the creator of JustINKD. I’m now in my 30s, but I’ve been getting inked since I was 16, with one goal in mind: a full bodysuit of world-class art. What began as a love of tattoos has become a huge part of my life—and a journey I wanted to share with the world.

JustINKD started with a little wordplay: Justin meets “inked.” Pretty clever, right? I first took that name to YouTube, sharing my experiences and enthusiasm for everything tattoo-related. Over time, it grew into a recognisable name in the online tattoo community.

But my connection to tattoos goes deeper than the artwork. I was born partially deaf, with ears that developed differently, and I wear a BAHA hearing aid. Growing up, I often felt like an outsider: alone, different, and somehow less than the people around me. For a long time, those insecurities shaped how I saw myself.

Getting tattooed helped me build confidence. It gave people something to notice beyond the things I had always fixated on—and gave me something about my appearance that I was excited to share. Over time, I learned to accept myself while falling in love with the artistry, the process, and everything that comes with collecting tattoos.

Now, with more than 400 hours under the needle and countless hours spent researching artists and styles, my passion reaches far beyond my next appointment. I’m a tattoo collector, not a tattoo artist. What I share comes from lived experience, curiosity, and a real appreciation for the care and creativity behind every piece.

I believe tattoos can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, whether through self-expression, personal storytelling, or feeling more confident in their own skin. My goal is to share that possibility with the world—and, hopefully, play a small part in your tattoo journey, too.
